A68KPM Single Board Computer User's Manual

This technical manual was intended to assist the user applying and operating the A68KPM 16/32-bit single board computer. The scope and organization of this technical manual include a general description of the manual, installation and checkout procedures, a functional description of the computer and troubleshooting guidelines. The A68KPM was a high performance (at the time), MC6800 based, single board computer with on-board ROM, RAM, memory management, real time clock and extensive I/O capabilities. This powerful sing board computer was an ideal hardware environment for then, modern, real time, multi-tasking and multi-user operating systems. The A68KPM was fully compatible with REGULUS, Alcyon Corporation's enhanced UNIX-compatible operating system. REGULUS could be provided in PROM or disk based configurations. REGULUS' small, but efficient kernel and real time task extensions are ideally suited to single board computer applications.
