Wallace Silversmiths made several computer peripherals including a silver plated mouse, a gold plated mouse, and a silver plated mousepad holder. The mouse could be engraved with a company's name and used as a giveaway or gift. The mice are commonly available on ebay and in thrift stores.
This mouse is basically a common PS/2 compatible mouse (model MUO6P) that has a sliver plated cover on the top 1/2 of the plastic mouse. The bottom is a traditional plastic trackball mouse.
We do not know what the date is for this item. Since it is PS/2 compitable it must be after 1987. We are guessing it is the mid-1990s. If you have any information, please leave it in the comment section.
